Over a year after launching her successful jeans line, Jackie Guerrido took a new leap and expanded her fashions to include dresses and other casual looks. Jackie Guerrido was born on September 24, 1972 and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She moved to the Bronx in New York where she studied acting and production.

Guerrido has always aspired to be a great woman, keeping her vision of success was her main priority. Although, life in New York City was difficult, she made sure she reached her destination. When Jackie moved to Miami in 1997, she studied journalism at the University of Miami, Mother of two, her top priority is her children and focusing on her career and most of all showing all women her secrets to success and being an inspiration of motivation and strength.


Since her youth, Jackie’s beauty did not go unnoticed. She worked as a model for several campaigns. And in 1996 attended open auditions for the film Selena. Discovered by a producer who heard her doing a voice-over, she began working at WSKQ’s morning show, El Vacilon de la Mañana in NYC. Followed by countless numbers of radio hosting opportunities, Guerrido settled down in Miami and she joined the HBC Radio Company. As the request for the rising radio host kept coming, she finally landed job as a weathercaster for Univision . Jackie began giving her daily weather reports on Despierta America every morning, and now Jackie Guerrido is currently keeping us updated on Primer Impacto, one of the highest-rated shows in the United States, Also Guerrido is now hosting the segment of Variety in Spanish.


In 2010 she was a finalist for the Spanish version of Dancing with the Stars called Mira Quien Baila. The show’s finale was on November 21, 2010 and Guerrido came in 2nd place by more than 9 million votes. Guerrido was awarded $10,000 dollars which she donated to the “Casa Protegida Julia de Burgos”, a domestic violence shelter. In 2012 she was selected to be a part of “100 Hispanic Miami” a book that highlights the hard work of 100 professionals who have contributed to Miami’s development in different fields.

Guerrido says “I’ve been blessed my whole life and I don’t plan to keep those blessings to myself”. She has served as a sponsor for many charities as Catholic Guardian Society and Home Bureau, Casa Protegida Julia de Burgos, Fundacion Alas a la Mujer, Salvation Army, and Eva Longoria’s charity PADRES Contra El Cancer.

A portion of all proceeds gained from her line JG Collection goes to different foundations of low income single mothers. As Guerrido keeps growing she is keeping herself busy with ways of allowing others to grow.
